K&N Filters

This is the K&N filtercharger kit

designed for the mustangs with the 80mm

MAF sensor.

There are two part numbers that fit the SHO's.

63-1008 and 57-2523.

Both use the same adaptor and cone, 

but include different brackets and the 57-2523 includes the cleaner/charger.

The cone must be maodified to clear the wheel housing and the hood.  This is accomplished by bending the end cover of the filter.  The filter fits perfect and you can't even see the bend once the filter is installed in the car.

This is the modified filter from the side.  Airflow is not effected by the modification

Presently, I  have installed the IAT sensor between the cone filter and the adaptor.  It just sits inside the filter.  It would be fairly easy to make a braket to hold the sensor, but IMHO the sensor performs just fine sitting in the filter.
