Though time may pass, a memory stays,

reminding us of happy days,

And of the people who’ve touched our lives,

Of favors done, and love expressed.

Of those who’ve stood above the rest,

A memory is a treasure that survives.

Beauty is Blind

Beauty is not seen by the eye,

But by the heart;

It is not nourished by need,

But by Love

Cue ball Control

Spin and stroke, in the poke;

Control is the name of the game.

Maximizing the spin will usually win,

Unless it rains and the ball skids lame.

I never met a girl like you;

I miss you so much, it’s true, it’s true

Health

Stretch and move to stay thin;

The quicker you move the faster it’s in.

Alcohol and sugar is not where it’s at,

Work on omittance or you’ll get fat.

Lady

I want to visit with you,

One life touching another;

To have not desires having.

To have needs not.

Touch my life such that,

I have all I ever needed.

Lonely Me

I’m lonely now, by myself.

But believe someday I will find,

A girl to love, the perfect girl,

To improve my peace of mind.

I’m an impatient sort but I will wait,

For God knows when I’ll deserve,

To receive that love, unending love,

From such a girl as her.

Love is the Word

Love is the Word and Love is the way;

Love goes forever and Love’s here to stay.

Lust

Be still in my life, the ills of strife,

desires of lust and pleasure.

You can not be keeping,

or I wouldn’t be weeping,

until I return to dust and treasure.

Prayer to God

Help this hand to write thy command;

Such that I can understand.

More and more to find the door,

To thy great score forever more,

Shannon

A child so fair with eyes so blue;

None can compare to this girl I knew.

Namely Shannon, God knows her too.

She is part of my only heart,

That went unshared until I cared,

For Shannon.

Someday I will

Someday I will see, just you and me;

It will be good, perfect, as it should;

We’ll live and die; live again on high;

How do I know?  God told me so.

Stroke of Life

I am a pool player; I’ve come to play.

To drink I need not, it’ll make me gray.

I have the power each and every hour,

To stroke my life away.

Substance to my Soul

There is a substance to my soul,

A method to my madness;

Friends a must before I go,

To live again in gladness.

Taint

Taint what we have but what we give;

Taint where we are but how we live.

Taint what we do but how we do it,

That makes this life worth going thru it.

Truth is Love; Love is Truth

I never saw a soul that lived for pay,

the way I did, for hire, from day to day.

I thought to be content was just to win;

but now believe, pursuit of greed’s a sin.

A learned man of Truth, I long to be;

repose my soul at rest and be set free.

With all desire of want, possessing of,

Grant me your gift, the greatest gift of Love.

Wealth

Where can I find a game for 5 or 10?

5 to stay alive, 10 to win.

I keep on stroking, day out, day in;

Until I meet my goals or until then.

What Jesus means to me

I give Jesus my heart, he gives me compassion;

The greatest part is goodness after His fashion.

Open up your heart and let Jesus in;

What can you lose?  You can only win.

Give your heart to Jesus and enjoy eternal rest;

To be forever happy, is the reward, by far the best.

A poem for God, A poem for you;

May we be together and live for Him that’s true.

Giving thanks by day and by night,

For His Word, the only right.
